Advanced Micro Devices better known as AMD, came to us with an opportunity to create and implement a partnership with DreamWork’s Animation unit and Hewlett-Packard. I was part of a small team that developed a Worldwide plan in about two weeks. We explained how AMD’s technology (inside HPs) helped Dreamworks not only speed up production but make it possible to render more computer generated details than ever before. Funding ran out before “Over the Hedge” came out, due to circumstances WAY beyond our control. Interestingly though, Intel and Pixar have run a “similar” campaign after we did.
